About The Exhibition:

The artwork in Laura Stack's "Diary of an Artist" exhibit is inspired by her recent Interview, "Biophilia," published in Interalia Magazine, an international platform dedicated to the connections between the arts and sciences.

Stack's Interalia interview and the paintings and drawings in this exhibition focus on 'Biophilia,' "a love of life and the living world." By pairing her interview writing with the artwork discussed in the interview, Stack aims to create an immersive experience for the audience and encourage a deep engagement with the art.

The biology-inspired paintings and drawings in this Rosalux exhibit reflect Laura's artistic journey from 2001 to 2024. Each art piece represents a specific body of work or series, offering a glimpse into her creative evolution.

For Stack, creating art is akin to keeping a journal. Stack says, "Looking back at my artworks over the past two decades, I can see that each body of work or series conveys a specific personal experience or profound observation, reflecting various stages of my creative exploration.
